Manual Therapy and FAKTR
Manual therapy is a specialized form of massage with the hands or tools that treat areas in the muscles that are stuck in a flexed state (commonly called knots). These techniques can help jump-start the healing process, help damaged tissues heal properly, and decreases the overall time needed to heal from sprain & strain injuries.
One of our manual therapy certifications, FAKTR, uses tools to give you same benefits above. On top of those benefits, this therapy hits the reset button on the healing process and incorporates movement to restore your optimal range of motion
Flexion & Distraction
Flexion distraction is a technique of stretching or distracting the spine. Patients will lie on a mechanical table that will gently move them to help decrease pain, muscle spasms, and inflammation.
This therapy is a patient favorite when complimented with machine vibration massage and TENS therapy. This therapy is a great option for you if you are in too much pain for deeper work or if you can not receive deeper therapies due to other medical conditions
Functional training combines exercises from the gym, circuit training, corrective training, and rehabilitation. This is done to train you in proper movement patterns that re-enforce pain free activities of daily living and sport.
